The City of Brass
Caliph Abd al-Malik commissions an expedition into the western desert to locate the fabled City of Brass, said to contain the vessels of ancient jinn sealed by Sulayman. A young scribe joins the caravan, documenting their journey across vast, silent dunes and ancient, warning-etched stones. Upon reaching the towering, gateless city, they discover a preserved world of treasure and silent, sleeping inhabitants. The expedition returns with lessons of humility and the fleeting nature of power, leaving the city's mysteries undisturbed in the desert sands.
